When Do You Know You Are In Love?
For Wayne, it was about a minute. I am amazed at his ability to not only say this, but to offer his life up every day. Because that is what Wayne did.
Quit his job to work with Kathy. She would not have anything to do with him at first. He put himself into her life.
They walked everywhere, no complaining. Wayne "likcec up his mother from work. He did not have a car, he was escorting her as a gentleman and son would at this time.
Walking back from Wrigley Field, Wayne admits it was work, but all worth it. From sitting on the steps of the church to going to war, this relationship grew in love with both of them and God.
As Wayne loved Kathy, he also was building on his relationship with GOd. Not as a demand from Kathy, but a cll from his soul. He followed this calling every time, Wayne has great faith.
After the war, Wayne kept his faith and supported his family in all things Catholic, but he was still a Lutheran.
